What People Are Saying

 Dear Kennedy Publishing--

The Best of Watermedia Artists, Vol. II (both sets) has arrived, and it was well worth the wait.  I am honored to be in this publication, and thank you for selecting my artwork. Sincerely,

Patricia Flynn

The books (Best of America Watermedia) arrived and they are beautiful!  Thank you so much.  The color is great and  I'm really pleased with the reproductions of my work and that of my teaching  partner, Lee Baughman, in this volume. We are both thrilled  to have been a part of this collection of American Watermedia and hope to participate in future volumes!  My best,

Susan  Cowan

I just got my copies of the book (Best of America Watermedia).  It looks beautiful.  Thanks for all of your hard work on it and thanks for including my paintings.  I am amazed at both the variety of art in these books and the constant high standard across all of the different mediums. These books are so exciting and vibrant.  Bravo. Best,

Matt Bialer

Just after I sent the message the postman arrived with a slip to say that they were waiting at the Post Office.  I have since picked them up (BOWW Oil) and they are very beautiful and I am extremely happy with the way that your Company has presented my work.  I will recommend your company to all my artistic friends and I would love to enter again and buy more books next time around!

Thank you!

Warm wishes from Lyndel Thomas, Australia

"Adonin strives to create works that allow for freeform exploration in an abstract universe without the hard constraints of realism. Rather than beginning with a preconceived idea of a painting's final form, the soundtracks he chooses while creating each piece determine the end results, allowing for freeform evolution."

"I have chosen to work in the traditional, figurative style of sculpture for I feel it is the best vehicle in which to express the natural beauty of the human body. In order to use this approach to my art, I have had to spend numerous years in the intensive study of human anatomy. My favorite subjects are children because of the roundness of their forms and subtle humor of their gestures and positions.  Along with intrinsic structural authenticity, I hope to bring to my sculptures the qualities of sensitivity, dignity, warmth, flowing design, and humanity."

I began working with sterling silver       "I began working with sterling silver and gradually moved into working with fine silver and 18Kt yellow gold.  I am now moving away from the traditional sterling silver and working more with the Argentium sterling silver, which is tarnish resistant.  I also incorporate colored, semi-precious gemstones into most of my designs.  The 'Floating Stone' design is my specialty.  Gemstones in rings and pendants having no visible means of support, thereby allowing the maximum amount of light in and out, making the stone 'come alive" with sparkle."

"My work embraces the contemporary non-linear view of time with its randomness, spontaneity, and chance occurrences. The figures are often in movement, conveying our individual voyages, and is a metaphor for our journey through life - A journey where we are 'collectively alone'."
