I have always been drawn to stories, the myths and metaphors.... colorful heros and noble actions. I could feel that in these tales we were being given clues to the mysteries of life or even more important, the mysteries of our own nature. When I began to sculpt I realized that I too had stories that I wanted to tell. My hero became the mother letting go of her grown child.... the noble action that of the simple act of trusting. My stories were about protection, and nature and journeys and devotion. They are the stories that celebrate what is essential and heroic in the human spirit and they are the stories that connect us to each other.
