Texas A & M, Corpus Christi The College of Liberal Arts excels in serving the mission of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. The CLA faculty is comprised of outstanding professionals who have dedicated themselves to serving their students and providing excellence in teaching, creative activity/scholarship, and community engagement. The College of Liberal Arts faculty includes many award winning professors, who demonstrate the strongest commitment to education. Faculty provide instruction in 19 disciplines and offer 15 undergraduate degrees, 6 graduate degrees, and 24 minors. CLA serves the largest number of students and has the largest number of majors of any college at TAMUCC. CLA accounts for approximately 75% of Core Curriculum instruction and offers about 90% of all the courses in the Honors Program. Our faculty values teaching and mentoring students. Through these activities, they help students connect to the lager profession. Faculty members are recognized in the profession through their membership and leadership positions in regional and national organizations as well as through their research and publications.
