The School of the Arts and Architecture at UCLA (UCLA Arts) plays a vital role in the cultural and artistic life of the campus and the community. Headed by a faculty of renowned visual artists and performers, the School of the Arts and Architecture is a highly regarded center for creative expression and research. The curriculum combines practical training in performing and visual arts mediums with a broad-based liberal arts education. Students enjoy a variety of opportunities to perform and exhibit on campus. Our three internationally acclaimed public arts institutions are the Hammer Museum, the Fowler Museum at UCLA, and a major performing arts program, UCLA Live. These institutions offer rich access to leading anthropological, historical and contemporary visual arts exhibitions and collections, as well as presentations by the world's most outstanding performing artists.
